We're a small team of like-minded people with a shared passion for youth development. You'll notice a lot of cricket in our bios, and our office is even based at The Oval Cricket Ground in London (yes, we do call it 'The Oval Office'). CMT Learning don't actually run any cricket camps; the cricket connections are just a coincidence. We can only apologise for how confusing that is.
Managing Director & Co-founder
A professional cricketer in his youth, Chris is a trained accountant with an analytical mind. He's set-up a number of businesses providing education-based services and combined his passion for sport and education in 2009 when he co-founded CMT Learning. Based in Bristol, Chris captains the Gloucestershire over-50s team and joins us at the London office in The Oval Cricket Ground mainly on match days!
Sales Director & Co-founder
Tony played professional cricket for Gloucestershire for 20 years, including 4 years as captain. After retiring, he set up CMT Learning with Chris and now works with our sales partners around the world to bring kids to our UK camps. When he's not travelling for work you'll find him on the golf course or the cricket pitch, or watching a match from the balcony of our office at The Oval.
Business Development Director
A consultant for Nike for more than 10 years, Dale has been involved in sport his whole life, setting up major events and working closely with athletes, teams, governing bodies, broadcasters and sponsors. When he's not innovating the future of the business, he can be found recounting (sometimes mad but usually success) stories from his past, working and living all over the world.
Top 'man on the ground' Rikki makes everything happen. A Sports Science graduate from the University of Exeter, he came up through the ranks after working on our camps in university holidays many years ago. With a background in child development and events planning, he's now responsible for all our staffing and operations. His sporting passion is football and he supports Liverpool FC (which only some of the team hold against him).
Keeping everyone hydrated and caffeinated, Katie is an MA graduate in Sports Development with a serious tea-drinking habit. As well as working with our sales partners on our summer camps, she heads up Sports Tours Europe, finding new partnerships and relationships with clubs and teams across the world. She's particularly interested in girls' football coaching and development... and tea.
Ben played junior international hockey and is our resident hockey expert. He works with customers and sales partners from around the world, as well as managing our bookings and airport transfer service. Another keen cricketer, he has the best view of the pitch from him desk at the office in The Oval. He plays tennis, cycles to work and likes his biscuits kept in the fridge.
